• Tagalog - English - Chinese (Mandarin)
Tagalog is the native language of the Philippines. We will teach English and Mandarin due to close proximity to China and the need for trade with English-dominant countries. The recent emergence of tourism in Coron has developed a high demand for multilingual individuals within this region.
• Native History (Creation Story) - Oral History
The creation story of the native people will be taught using local artifacts, and taught by elders in the community to preserve local traditions.
• Traditional - Dance - Kali - Physical Education
Our physical education curriculum includes dance, basket weaving, pottery making, and Kali (Philippine martial arts).
• Problem Solving - Local Economy - Engineering - International Trade
We will teach these subjects through direct instructional models and collaborating with local businesses, with the goal of expanding the local fishing trade.
